About Coursepack Payment Options

When you create a Coursepack, the available payment methods will automatically adapt based on the institution you are registered under.

If you see only one default option ("By Institution") selected for you: This means your institution is The University of Hong Kong (HKU) or has a partner agreement with ACRC. You are eligible for the "Institutional Pay-Later" scheme, which allows you to teach first and settle the payment later.

• How it works: You can prepare the Coursepack and have it published for students right away. Your institution's designated Payment Administrator will receive the invoice and settle the payment at a later date.

If you see two options available to choose from: This means your institution does not currently have an agreement with ACRC. You will need to choose how the Coursepack is paid:

• By Institution (Upfront): You or the Courespack administrator pay upfront based on your estimated student enrollment. (Note: If your actual class size grows, additional students must be paid for before they can access materials).
• By Student: You can publish for free. Students pay individually to access the Coursepack.
