Launch and Stop Your Lab
To enter your online lab environment, you need to first click Start. The status will change from “Stopped” to “Starting” while the system prepares your lab.
Wait a few seconds for the status to show “Running” and the Open button to turn green. You can now click Open to enter the lab.

This is a timed lab session. Your lab timer starts counting down as soon as the Open button becomes clicable. Click Open to enter the coding environment. The lab will open in a new browser tab.

If the lab does not open automatically, check your browser settings to ensure pop‑ups are enabled. See How to Configure Browswer Pop-up Settings for more information.
In the lab environment page, a timer in the top-right corner will display your remaining lab time in real time.

After you finish working in the lab, remember to save your files and return to the lab page. Click Stop to end the session in order to stop your lab time from continuing to count down.
You do not need to export your work for submission. As long as you save your files properly in the lab workspace, your instructor will be able to access and review them.

You can review the files in your workspace without launching the lab again. Simply go to the Lab File Management tab. Click Refresh to load the most up‑to‑date list of files in your lab workspace.
