Jewellworld.com由六福珠宝的主席兼行政总裁黄伟常于2000年4月成立,同时提供商业对商业(B2B)及商业对消费者(B2C)的服务。Jewellworld.com的B2B平台最初是要成为一个互联网上的虚拟贸易会,包含珠宝展的所有功能,不过从一开始,它就发现很多会员都不是服务的积极使用者,Jewellworld.com因此主动地寻求方法为顾客提供更好的服务,从中发展了为顾客带来价值的新服务。到了2004年,它进展成专门服务珠宝业的互联网科技顾问公司。Jewellworld.com的B2C平台本来是用来展示六福品牌的珠宝及为其它零售商提供平台向消费者直接销售,当重新推出时,主要的焦点转为在线上出售已打折的珠宝,目标是较年轻的一代,珠宝选择倾向较时尚和流行,定价在1,500—3,000港元之间。虽然起步较慢,B2C平台的销售逐步上扬,到了2004年已拥有超过3,500名会员,它的强项是物超所值和灵活度。
